MORTAKAI ARE LOOKING FOR NEW BASS PLAYER Mortakai consists of 3 piece band with Ben Kemp on vocals and guitar, Dave Welford on Drums and Mourt on Bass.
The band formed in 2002 and has started working together on a style that suited the trio. The band has experimented alot over the 3 years of jamming together to come up with there fisrt EP X101. Which means there first experiment.

most people like the other songs people say sound similar so if that's not your thing we are sorry, we will try to break them up abit next time. As the EP's name suggests it is our ever recording.
The EP was recorded at Front Ear Sound in Tewantin (Noosa) Australia by Stephen Hamacek and Mastered in Brisbane in The Digital Archives Network by Daniel Fornier.
The sound has been desribed as Somewhere between Nirvana & Staind. Make sure to listen to all of the tracks as the first 3 are similar but the last two are a more accoustic sound.
Mortakai are currently working an their debut album.
They have been jamming with their new Bass player
who likes to add alot of creativity to the sound and will be doing backup vocals which will give the band a greater overall feel.
