Mountain Silence is a group of musicians from Switzerland, Austria and Germany that arranges and performs the music of Sri Chinmoy on insruments like the violin, cello, harmonium, guitar, harp, hackbrett and xylophone. Inspired by the poetry and music of Sri Chinmoy the all-female ensamble started singing and playing in 1984. Mountain Silence is mostly invited to perform their sacred music in churches in all parts of Europe.
