The band got its start in Eureka, California in 1985, and consisted of Trevor Dunn, Mike Patton, Trey Spruance, trumpet player Scott Fritz, and drummer Jed Watts. Watts was subsequently replaced by Hans Wagner, and he by current drummer Danny Heifetz. An old educational film devised to teach children good manners & hygiene. The main character was a puppet named Mr. Bungle, who represented the kind of person no clean, polite kid would aspire to be. There is a sample from this show on the self-titled Mr. Bungle album between "Love Is A Fist" and "Dead Goon."

Most precise, complex,
innovative, creative shit
ever...
Who would agree with that analogy? I just
recently discovered these guys and oh my god,
they are insane. There music has absolutly no
boundires or restrictions of any kind. These
guys could be the most talatned artists ever.

| They're certainly original and creative,
but I wouldn't call them the most talented
artists ever. There music isn't meant to
be taken as seriously as other bands and
that's why their songs are so random and

artists ever is laying it on too thick, but I
would still say they are all very talanted
and versatile musicians. By saying you
can't any of their shit seriously, well
thats labeling them right there. I don't
think there music is serious or just a joke,
