Independent or Die
How much is enough? When will artist wake up and see the truth for what it is? Record companies don't give a fuck about you and as gravy as these cats,the music artist,lives may seem it's strictly image. The cars are not theirs most of the jewlery's not theirs, and most of the houses don't belong to them. What a record company does is front you alot of money that has to be repaid so by the time you get your check for services rendered you might be in the hole. We don't need them but we do need each other. We need to promote each other,we need to put each other up on gigs,we need to stop hating on each other, and we need to cut out the middle man. We do the work,they get the pay.Not every artist is going to get the 50cent treatment. In fact only 1 out of every 200 artist will get that type of treatment from record companies.
