Aerosmith: What can you say bout them other then AWESOME...
Known as the best rock band in history Aerosmith proved they will be around for long time to come not to mention they been round 20 + years..Let's take a look at the band shall we?
Steven Tyler-Born Mar 26 and an Aries..Tyler first started singing in a Presbyterian Church choir...Never took a lesson learned everything bout singing in that choir..Very musically talented and diverse can play numerous instruments including piano,harmonica,guitar and drums..Started a band called the Stranguers when he was 15...At age 16 was in Chain Reaction..Hitchiked to New Hampshire for a gig and thats where he first met Joe Perry who also had a gig that night with his band(the jam band)..Tyler's first time in the studio was with Chain Reaction..Song was called the Sun on MGM...His first tour was with Chain Reaction they opened up for the Byrds...Tyler's favorite Aerosmith song is No Surprise..And his favorite tv show is South Park believe it or not..His most prized possession is A handmade Damascus switchblade affectionately known as his big ten inch (sound familiar to anyone out there)His favorite sport is the horizontal mambo...To sum Steven Tyler up in 1 word AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Next up is Joe Perry:
Born Sept 10 and a Virgo first learned to play guitar at 6 years of age..Started his first band at 14 years old they were called Flash..His first guitar was a Ukelaile that his uncle had made for him..Joe like Steven never took any lessons in his life he is self taught..One of the bands he was in before Aerosmith called the Hopedale band is where he met Tom Hamilton..How they came together you may ask??In the Jam band of Perry's broke up and moved to Boston..At the same time Steven's band broke up and they joined together So far we got Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton in a band...Joe's first time on tour was the first aerosmith tour...To sum Joe Perry up Great....
Next up is Tom Hamilton:
Born Dec 31st and a Capricorn...Tom started playing bass at the age of 12...His first band was sam citrus and the merciless tangerine..Along with the bass Tom can play keyboards as well..His first bass was a Fender Precision....Tom's first tour also was with Aerosmith..Tom is tri-lingual can speak English,French,and Spanish..Tom likes to collect WW2 paraphenelia..Tom's favorite Aerosmith song is The Farm..His most prized possession is a 1974 Ferrari Dino..To sum Tom Hamilton up in one word also is great...
Next up we have Brad Whitford:
Born Feb 23rd and a pisces Brad first learned to play guitar at 14...Formed his first band at age 16 called Earth Inc...He also knows how to play the trumpet..His first guitar was a Japanese winston...Was originally a sax player before he learned to play guitar...Took one year of guitar lessons when he was 16..Was 19 when he joined Aerosmith..Joe and Tom saw Brad in a band called Just in Time in a club and asked Brad to join Aerosmith..His first tour was with Aerosmith..Brad's favorite Aerosmith song is Nobody's Fault...His Favorite tv show is The Larry Sanders Show..His most prized possession is a 1959 Les Paul guitar...To sum up Brad Whitford in one word:Great
Last but not least is Joey Kramer...
Born June 21 he is a cross between Gemini and Cancer..Joey learned to play drums at the age of 14..At 16 he was in his first band called the Medallions..Joey does not know how to play any other instruments unlike his counterparts....His first drum kit was a 3 piece Kent kit..He started to play drums to piss off his parents when he got in trouble was banned from playing in the house so he practiced wherever the band practiced..Joey was 18 when he joined Aerosmith..The name Aerosmith came about because when Joey was in high school him and a girl he dated used to write it all over their books knowing when Joey made it big his band's name would be Aerosmith.Joey's favorite songs by Aerosmith are nobody's fault and Lord of the thighs..His most prized possession is his twin turbo porsche...One last note Aerosmith was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame on Mar 19....Well fans there you have it my biography on aerosmith all these facts are known to be true....All these facts are confirmed thru numerous connections at Columbia and Geffen records....
