Cradle of filth
Cradle of filth first came into the metal scene in the early 90’s when the UK was striving to make a good Norwegian black metal band. With there creativity and ambitions cradle of filth where a force to be reckoned with, Cradle of filth emerged in 1991 from the shadows with a fully formed multi faced sound. With venomous black metal, high gothic drama and pure British metal that immediately made the rise above all other black metal bands they grabbed the attention of both the global metal head legions. An excellent debut album, 1994 The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh, ensured there trademark sound and look where loud and clear and within months Cradle of filth and within months cradle of filth where established as the UK metal scenes best black metal band. Cradle of filth had constant hits and with eye catching merchandise they kept themselves in the spotlight with eye catching live shows. In 1966 cradle released Vampire and its much awaited follow up Dusk And Her Embrace. Two years later Cruelty And The Beast took there fame to new heights, revealing new sophistication and maturity in there song writing. The From Cradle To Enslave EP and Midian (2000) Followed in close succession with wide spread applause form everyone. In 2001 cradle of filth released Bitter Suites So Succubi. A good mixture of new and old material Live bate for the dead was the first official audio document of cradle of filth’s ferocious live shows was released in 2002. In 2003 Cradle of filth released Damnation And A Day was the begging of a remarkable 12 months. There DVD’S PanDaemonAeon and Heavy Left Handed Candid where big hits. 10 years on from cradle of filths first CD they have now got a recording contract with roadrunner records. Cradle of filth spent 2003 on the road doing more than 100 live shows and interviews. The people that make cradle of filth are founding member/dani filth, guitarists Paul Allender James McKillboy, keyboard Martin Foul, bass Dave Pubis and drummer Adrian Erlandsson. Cradle of filth have just finished there new CD Nymphetamine that has been much awaited by many.
