Mxpx started in Mike Herera's basement in 1992 in Bremerton, Washington. The band includes: Mike Herera (vocals, bass guitar), Tom (guitar, backup vocals), and Yuri Ruley (drums). They started their first tour in 1995, only two days after their graduation (when they were still known as Magnified Plaid.) Their discography includes: pokinatcha, teenage politics, life in general, let it happen, slowly going the way of the buffalo, the everpassing moment, live: at the show,ten years and running, the renaissance ep, move to bremerton, and before everything & after. They signed their first record with the Christian Rock label Tooth & Nail. They also have records with A &M records. All members are happily married and still live in Bremerton, Washington.
