The Nekromantix were founded in 1989 by singer/bassist Kim Nekroman. In 2002 they had their debut album on Hellcat records entitled "Dead Girls Don't Cry." This was their American debut but far from their first album. It is their seventh cd. “We did everything in a hurry,” Nekroman says about 'Dead Girls Don't Cry,' “All the lyrics written at the last minute. I woke up early in morning and did the lyrics, then we stayed up late at the studio recording. It was all very impulsive.” Nekromantix are currently one of the bands leading American Psychobilly.
