Ninety Per-Cent Nudist are a punk/rock quintet hailing from the county of Hampshire, England. Established as a quartet in 2003 the band formed in order to enter a competition playing cover songs. The band decided on one fine day to start writing their own tracks and after a month of being together the band got their very first gig opening for some local bands at venue near where they live. Later that year they went into a local recording studio in order to record an e.p.
The e.p. titled “Sixty Zero” really didn’t show the bands potential but they sold a few copies and manage to start up a small fan base doing so. After that the band have been rehearsing new material and playing local shows. In 2005 Ninety Per-Cent Nudist announced that they were going to be recording their debut album in December. However the band new something was missing and that the songs they’d written really needed something more. So in comes synth player James Goodson. The band gave him a trial period and decided it sounded so much better with this added instrument that they decided to invite him into the band.
So from playing small venues in front of small crouds to playing small venues in front of small crowds, from recording crappy CD’s, to recording maybe a better CD this Christmas, this is the story so far and stay tuned for the next chapter!!!!!!!!!!! |
