No Doubt was made by John Spence and ERIC STEFANI in mid-december 1986. JOHN named the band after his favorite expressios; NO DOUBT. ERIC forced GWEN to sing back ups. At this point ADRIAN, TOM, and TONY were not part of the band. A year after JOHN takes his own life at an ANAHEIM PARK. First the band calles it quits but then after weekks ERIC and GWEN renewed the band. Auditions were taken as well as ADRIAN, TONY and TOM. GWEN took over vocals.
In 1992 they released their self tittled album: NO DOUBT. Everyone neglet them even dumb KROQ.
In 1995 they released TRAGIC KINGDOM. Tracks like JUST A GIRL, SPIDER WEBS, EXCUSE ME MR. and of course DONT SPEAK brought them up to the chart.
Before the finishing the recording of TREAGIC KINGDOM, ERIC leaves the band to continue his animation career with the simpsons. His departure was followed by GWEN and TONY'S break up.
In 1995 they realeased RETURN OF SATURN
In 2001 they left the ska roots behind and released ROCK STEADY.
since then NO DOUBT has rocked our world upside down!!!!!!!
