We are a gothic/doom/operatic metal band with female vocals, elements of progressive and influence of classic music. "Best operatic voice" winner in vote-contest for best female vocals "Metal Maiden 2004" among bands from ex-USSR countries (heavymusic.ru)
Most of you have heard about Requiem - the funeral messa, dedicated to the memory of the gone ones. It?s based on a latin poem "Sequentia" written by a fraciscan monk Tomas de Celano in the XIII-th century. The difference between Requiem and the ordinary catholic messa is in the absence of some parts (Gloria, Credo) instead of which some other were introduced - Offertorioum amongst the others. So it appears that Offertorium is a part of Requiem.
The source of inspiration for ?band is the medieval sacred music, in particular, music of an epoch of a baroque and early romanticism, and also creativity of German poets of the " Sturm und Drang " period is used for the band's lyrics.
Band's line-up is rather unusual - 8 persons, 5 of which study in Chisinau conservatory (Academy of Arts), and girl that plays flute has entered in a conservatory of Florence (Italy) this summer.
Vocalist possesses quite rare type of a voice - a coloratura soprano - and already often acted as soloist at opera theatre and, without exaggeration, it would be right to say that she is the Hope of Moldavian opera. On recently past Delphy games she was awarded with one of prize-winning places.
The band is well known and loved both in Moldova and Ukraine, where it already has devoted admirers.
In the autumn of 2004 debut album " Ohne Dich " was recorded. It's presentation took place in Chisinau - it was a big success and got absolutely record-breaking audience.
