The Ol\' Dirty Bastard was born Russell Jones, and later in life started one of the most influencial groups, The Wu Tang Clan with Robert Diggs a/k/a the RZA. Before doing 36 Chambers with The Wu, ODB put out an EP called \"The Brooklyn Zoo.\" When the Wu Tang Clan dropped it was an undergrround success at first but caught mainstrem attention with their single \"Protect Yo\' Neck.\" After recording several albums with the Wu Tang, Dirt McGirt decided to go solo. After realesing a couple of semi-polular CDs he signed with Roc-A-Fella Records. But after a few months signed to the Roc, Ol\' Dirty Bastard died of a cocaine overdose in The Wu Tang Clan studios. But his legancy lives on with hundrens of hours of songs, freestyles, and hooks ODB recorded he\'ll be putting out CDs for at least ten more years.
