| Old Buddy Jack was formed in 1994 with Jason Corrick-Lead Guitar, Jeff "Buff" Nowak-Bass, and John "Novy" Nowak-lead vocals & drums. The band played the local bar circuit in the Ohio Valley as a trio until January of 1999 when the band added bass man Steve Riedel to the group which allowed "Buff" to move to rhythm guitar duties. In 2000 the band released their first cd "Homebrew" which consisted of 7 originals and local crowd favorites, Steppenwolf's "Magic Carpet Ride" and J. Geils Bands' "Love Stinks." The band had a major change in March of 2003 when Jeff "Buff" Nowak decided to leave the band to pursue a solo musical effort. O.B.J. decided to just continue on as it started--a trio. The band is currently working on material for a second cd release, which will include the songs "Part Time Rockstar" and "Bottoms Up" found on this website. |
