One Fret Down is an unusual blend of many music influences; from the classics, to the melodramic sounds of The Doors, the British invasion sounds of the Beatles, Hootie and the Blowfish, as well as the classic American folk rock sounds of the Mammas and the Papas, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and others.
The Rave, Trance, and New Age type instrumental solos, are mostly the work of classically trained pianist Manuela Perez. |
