After Good Riddance and Bane played a few shows togehter back in 2002, Russ from GR and Aaron from Bane become friends due to their passion of coffee. They started thinking about a new band project. Russ took Zach(Ex-GWAR) on second giutar. In winter 2002 told Russ BIll from Descenendts about his, yet drummerless, band and so Bill joined the Band.
In july 2003, Russ, Zach and Bill made up a demo, which they sent to Aaron. Late in 2003, these four guys did a proper demo in Massachusetts and wrote three new songs in order to do a full length the next year. So they recruited Zach's brother Doni(van) on Bass.One of Bane's guys came upwith the name "Only Crime"
On the 15th of February 2004, Only Crime played its very first show. In the following time, they supported some bands, mostly the Dropkick Murphy's on the East Coast. The consequence was that Fat Wreck got attentive on Only Crime. So they signed the Band and their first record, To The Nines, was produced and released in 2004. |
