| UK band Orphans create melancholy guitar pop for the maudlin masses. If you're a fan of Coldplay, Starsailor, Snow Patrol or Radiohead then you need to hear Orphans.
The brainchild of lead vocalist, Sean Harrison, Orphans began life in late 2002 as a three piece outfit of bass, drums & Guitar. Orphans have evolved since, experimenting with different line ups and styles, all the time honing their craft in bitter sweet ballads and upbeat angst ridden rock.
Compared to bands as diverse as; Radiohead, Coldplay, Led Zepplin, Pearl Jam, Incubus, Snow Patrol and The Verve, Orphans are truly paying homage to their peers.
Orphans are currently working on their first album entitled; Random Acts of Kindness which will be available in early 2005.
