| The Overtone is currently in the process of recording their first EP. It will feature five original songs including Sleepwalk, Visual Beauty, Live For The Moment, Not Forgotten, and Eyes Wide Shut. It will available in June by contacting The Overtone and will also be sold at upcoming shows.
The Overtone formed at the beginning of their Freshman year at the University of Notre Dame. Former members of South Bend's Layden, Dan Bradley and James Miller joined with Brett Adams, Jake Watson, and Jamal Afridi from the Notre Dame Cross Country/ Track team.
Combining pop/rock and a little funk, this band has a sound of its own. Watch out for upcomming shows.

Lyrics:
Sleepwalk:
How do I describe you, when you never look the same
I didn't expect to be surprised when you didn't know my name
How do I define you, how do I describe your touch
How can something that seems so simple sometimes mean so much
No matter where you are, you'll not sleepwalk alone
No matter where we step, we'll always be at home
Now you're searching for a brand new path to roam
But no matter where you step, you'll always be at home
Why do I despise you, you leave me in dismay
Your looks paralyze me, words hypnotize me,
Takes my breath away
I should criticize you, you never gave me a chance
You stared me in the eyes, cut me down to size
And smothered our brief romance...with one glance
No matter where you are, you'll not sleepwalk alone
No matter where we step, we'll always be at home
Now you're searching for a brand new path to roam
But no matter where you step, you'll always be at home
Lyin' alone in my bed, I conjure up thoughts of you
Thinking about how I'd give up everything if you asked me to
Can't you comprehend, this opportunity
So please come live this dream with me
No matter where you are, you'll not sleepwalk alone
No matter where we step, we'll always be at home
Now you're searching for a brand new path to roam
But no matter where you step, you'll always be at home
