"Atlantic Radio Traffic Creates Monster..."
A Brief History/Cautionary Tale:
Owen Critchley was raised in Bermuda. As the island nights fell over a weary child, he placed his
radio under his pillow and fell into sleep and a world of unknown consequences: Atlantic Radio Traffic. A world where AM radio signals from the US, Bermuda and the Caribbean, were grotesquely melded in the clear black sky over the Altantic. A world where Jacob Miller, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Smokey Robinson, The Manhattans and Metallica radiated unformatted into the boy's sleeping mind. The effects were gradual, but after a time, undeniable. Guitars were turned to "11", drums were dried and sequenced in the island sun. This condition has been called Grindpop.
