| Paper Plane Catastrophe came together in May 2004, when me (PK) and Jose being members of different bands from the scene here in Puerto Rico: Jose from Anti Sociales (old school pop punk) and myself from Leftover (pop punk) decided to come together and play something different from what we were used to playing. We talked with a friend of ours, Javy, who used to play in No Turning Back (pop punk) to play drums with us and ended up with Eduardo as our bass player, who used to scream in a hardcore band called Demized. The idea of the band was just to make music that is fun to play live and to write about personal situations involving love, drugs and deception that people could relate to. In our short term existence we have played with most of the legendary hardcore acts in Puerto Rico and have shared the stage with Bloody Sunday from Virginia and Evergreen Terrace from Florida. We will be moving to Connecticut in the summer and plan to tour till we die or at least until a good amount of people give us a listen. |
