| Formed in 1978 by Jerry Erickson who sang back up for Linda Ronstadt, My old drummer Mo Singh brought me into the band when they started looking for lead guitarists. At the time I was playing with a band called JINX who had a lead singer by the name of Kelly Hanson (later the lead singer of HURRICANE). Playing my own songs soundly better to me than just being a side-man so I became a PASSENGER. We played at various clubs in Los Angeles such as Gazzari's, The Troubador, Pan Andreas Theatre, Club 88, etc. Got signed to a production deal with a company called Free Spirit. We also went on a mini-tour of the South and played at the Atlanta Agora Ballroom and other clubs in Florida. The band fizzled out in 1980 due mostly to managerial incompetence. Oh well, that's the rock and roll biz. |
