| One of the four Finalists in the 1997 Fender Blues Guitar Competition invited to the 1st Annual Fender Blues Festival on Catalina Island that year, Paul Cummins has been a part of L.A.'s Blues and Rock scenes for many years- appearing on local television, and performing as well as recording with many of the top names in Southern California; as well as being asked to side for Chuck Berry as a member of his backup band for a national tour.
Long time friends Doug Dalley and Bob Buchler complete the trio on bass and drums respectively; and together they're as comfortable as your favorite flannel shirt. From swampy Blues Rock, to stompin' Electric Blues, to sweet and mellow Country Blues and any and all permutations in between, Paul and the Lion Dogs give a nod to the traditions, but do so byway of their personalities.
isound has included Paul Cummins in their radio! Thank you isound for feeling the tuneage to be among the best ! You RAWK!
