By profession i am a drummer who also sings lead in a hardrock band. I have a tendency to enjoy writing crazed perhaps even politically incorrect lyrics.
When the words are finished i start composing the needed musicial parts to pave a path for them.
When it is complete i sing the lyrics and back ups as well. I don't consider this as real rock but more like an experimental lyric composition with a rock feel.
I write in many musicial viens including hardrock, goth, experimental, rock-rap, comedic, Techno and easy listening. Sure could use a new guitar....anybody wanna send me a guitar ?
No group used on this stuff !... just me and whatever device i can squeeze sound out of at the time. I write very twisted lyrics and compose the parts using whatever method gets the job done. Sometimes i use drum machines, sometimes i play em. Some times i use acid ...the looping tool not the tab or clinical...well?? I love reversing tracks & stuff to obtain a twisted rythem then let that grow into something. I don't care how its made if its cool i will use it.
On songs like "Morphine Eyes" i played parts on a cheap Casio 210 keyboard while recording clapping into a soundbank recorder..... I use many methods to lay down tracks. Sometimes i use Acid 2.2 with live vocals, then piece together the bass and other instuments. Who knows what i will do next. I have even used a kitchen table for drums then applyed heavy flange & compression to push the dynamics off the eq (lol)
Style
Style ??? Not sure. I am a rock drummer in a rock band. I also sing lead vocals as well. In my spare time i also enjoy creating these songs. Styles are from hardrock to comedic....what exactly is style if style is diversity ?
Sounds Like: nothing else...quite original...maybe a Canadian Beck!!!
The songs are interesting, unique, and funny. Pimp 33 is a breath of fresh comedic air to the doldrums of todays radio schtick
Influences
Anything & Everything but mainly Classic rock music. I enjoy the twisted successful Beck, Ice T, Rob Zombie and Eminem. I also kinda dig rock rap.
