Pinstripe formed in 2004 and all live within four miles of the Glastonbury Festival site in the heart of the West Country, UK
To date the four sixteen-year-old musicians have played more than 80gigs since their debut gig in 2005. In August 2005 the band played a live acoustic session and took part in an interview on BBC local radio.
In the Autumn of 2005, aged just 15, Pinstripe came joint second in the Mid-Somerset Battle of the bands, the final was held at Kudos nightclub in the city of Wells in front of 600 people.
Pinstripe have now developed their own website with information on the band, photos and gig listings.
2006 started well with Pinstripe winning the Crispin and Strode College Battle of the Bands in front of an audience of 350 people. The judges who were Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis, BBC radio DJ Jo Phillips and top record producer James Winchester, awarded "This Feeling Inside" best original song and Pinstripe as the best overall band.
In February 2006 the band released their self-produced Critic Killer CD single which features their self penned songs, Critic Killer, The Only One and This Feeling Inside.
The band have played throughout the West Country at such venues as "The Brstol Carling Academy" and "Moles Club in Bath". Pinstripe have also played at music festivals in the South West and recently made an appearance on Channel 4's music show "Transmission"
In August 2006 bass player "Charlie Brixey" joined Pinstripe with Josh switching to Keyboards and vocals. |
