PM Dawn was formed in 1988. This group is made up of brothers Prince Be and DJ Minute (Attrell and Jarrett Cordes). Their sound was between hip-hop and 70's soul. Rap is their genre and the styles of that genre are urban, alternative rap, and pop-rap. Some of their influences were Michael Jackson, Steivie Wonder, and Prince. Some of PM Dawn's followers were Impromp2 and Alfonzo Hunter. They're debut single was "Ode to a Forgetful Mind" and was recorded in 1988, but a full-length album was not released until 1991. That album was called "Of the Heart, of the Soul, and of the Cross: the Utopian Experience." The next album was "The Bliss Album?" (1993). The rest were, "Jesus Wept" (1995), "Vibrations of Love & Anger & the Ponderance of Life & Existance" (1996, and "Dearest Christian, I'm So Very Bringing You Here. Love, Dad" (1998). Their greatest hits came out in the summer of 2000.
