Porno for Pyros came out with their first dogmatic release when the destruction of civilization was in its formative stages. Without the resounding effort of the creative minds in Washington DC, they would have been bound from the beginning. Unless of course you cater to the narcissistic view of mediocrity in which the band was playing daily and sleeping at night. The exposure the band receive from its apple-a-day theory was overwhelming. Until 1997 the theory was beleived to be extinct in the world of rock-n-roll. Of course, noone wants to clarify what rock-n-roll is today. Without the stylistic musings of Porno for Pyros, the world would now be a decaying mass of fecal matter.
