Under his belt the "coffee Shop" album, self produced, written, engineered in a studio he "built by hand, enthusiasm and sweat" says Prahphet leaning back aside the indoor swimming pool, Malibu Hills. "A terrific sound achievement" as reviewed yet and still can not describe the success and the "failure is not an option" drive behind Prahphet's repertoire he exclaims with a proud yet humbling like smile.
Born in Compton, raised in South Central Los Angeles as a teen with lyrics reminiscent of a Queens native Nasir Jones in his younger industry years. Prahphet shows versatility in his music similar i.e. "Nike's" where he describes a day in the life of a pair of Nike's bought by a thug in the city of South Cen.
On songs with the "Hard Head Hustlaz" he mocks after the club banger from the HHH album "Lollipop"---
"Lollipop ain't the only pop I know, I couldn't take you to the candy shop, ha, how could I, they ain't got, one in watts/ so run it back to ya dogs, you couldn't fade none of us even though only one of us bald."
To quote this artist is to pour water out of a sinking boat in the middle of the pacific, "get the album, do some listening", Prahphet replies when asked about his credentials. Here's one worth the look.
Fans Fav Quotable:
"I need my mic plugged to ah S video wire/ I build you a candle light visual with the fire, see/ I speak high definition I burn ah motion picture on the disc life ah dvd writer/
they tryna figure how tah fit the conscious in ah file, so they can up and download me and copy my style"
The next album is set for release the fourth quarter of 2007, its highly anticipated under its being produced by Luji "The Genie" and Prahphet himself as well as many other well known producers.
