The Pralines bring together mid-60s pop influences with classic roots/Americana. Song of the Day Café brings to mind the hope and innocence of that earlier era of rock music, when young people still believed they could change the world and that a better future was possible. The Pralines have found a sideways path to a forgotten suburbia where hope still lives and the air smells sweetly of new-mown grass … and someone’s older brother’s band is making a glad and raucous racket in the garage.
