Creating workshops in which youth participants are given direct exposure to the creative process, and in doing so, they are provided with avenues for channeling anger, frustration, and other such negative energy into a positive learning experience. This has in many cases shown itself to be of lasting value. Baldread’s unusual stage name has a tongue-in-cheek twist on the Reggae genre’s traditional dreadlocks style. Usually he’s found sporting a clean-shaven head! The name Baldread came form one of his students that did not like to work, so when Baldread showed up for class the student would say, “here comes that “Bald Head Dread”
