My Bio: I am a music listener who do not care much about the genres.I am listening to a kind of music depending on the mood I have on that moment. Genereally,because my essence of my personality is in this direction, I like to listen to soft pop/rock music like Chris De Burgh,MFO,Mor ve Otesi,Stevie Wonder,Mariah Carey/Travis,Starsailor,Coldplay and classical Rock like Scorpions,Queen.When I am depressed and bored of that soft music, I love listening Radiohead,which is one of my favourites... When these are not enough Dream Theater's The Scenes From A Memory is my only drug. When I am a little bit hopeful, Green Day,Weezer give me that energy to look forward. When the words are not enough,instrumental musicians come to help; spanish guitar,sax of Kenny-G or Chet Baker or a essential classical music. And finally,Latin-music and Jamiroquai are the only ones which can make me move,and I should not forget Carlos Santana(I love his instrumental songs),Buena Vista Social Club and Bob Marley.
As a musician and guitar player I could not show such a variety yet;
I am a classical guitar player for more than 8 years and electrical guitar player for 3-4 years. I like playing latin songs on my classical guitar and making soft-rock and acoustic songs and lately I have started with my new Toy Digitech GNX3000 making electrical sounding songs on my electrical guitar.But my ideal music I would like to reach is made by Dream Theater for its progressive structure with great solos in a wonderful harmony. I am now in Bogazici University in Istanbul studying philosophy and trying to make music both in a group called infrorgy and my solo projects... Craziest thing I've ever done: To born |
