| My Bio: Born in Lynnwood, California and raised in Los Angeles, California until the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona. I've gone back and forth between Cali and the sun-baked desert ever since. Started my "music career" in 1972 on Treasure Island while serving in the USN. Been playing and writing original music since 1975 and have recorded 7 albums and played on additional albums for others. I am a multi-instrumentalist and BMI affiliated singer/songwriter. My band Cross Town has released their Debut Album "POINT OF VIEW" on Alethea Records and we are preparing a Tour for the Southwestern USA within the next 3 months. Cross Town plays a unique blend of Classic Rock, Blues Rock and 60's & 70's style R&B/Soul, covering Artists like Robin Trower, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Bad Company. Our original compositions are of the same genres with lyrics from a different "Point Of View", so to speak, in that they are Spiritually based and touch on life experiences, the "human condition" and the spiritual journey all of us begin at some point in life. I Like: People making a difference in their community, good music, sharing the Bread of Life with other hungry seekers like me. Long walks with my wife, especially on a beach or in the forest, and good times with family and friends. I Dislike: Drivers whose driving antics contradict the bumper stickers and emblems on their cars regarding being "christian". Craziest thing I've ever done: Jumped out of a perfectly sound aircraft on a static line jump at 5,000 feet (I was afraid of heights all my life). My Quote: "Having all of the form, but none of the substance." Leonard Nimoy's character Mr. Spock in an episode of Star Trek. |
