My Bio: Daniel “Von” Jens has built a strong musical reputation and presence in the Wisconsin music scene throughout his many years performing both solo acoustically and with full band. Some of Wisconsin’s most targeted music venues, such as Shank Hall, Green Bay’s BayFest, Linneman’s, BBC’s and the Globe have requested encore performances not only due to the powerful yet soothing tone of Daniel's vocals or the crowd that is drawn for every show, but also because of the professional demeanor that is upheld by this artist.
Daniel started his own independent record label and publishing company, Outer Box Productions in 2002. In a very competitive industry, the workload along with creating music and performing, not to mention holding down a regular full time job, caused him to refocus his attention on what he does best, which is make music and perform.
Currently, Daniel has written several new songs, performed selective live solo acoustic shows and is in search of a manager. In trying to do it all, Daniel has found out that he was spread too thin. Like a magnifying glass focusing all light and energy in one spot, Daniel has come to humble himself and focus all his energy on making music and performing. “This is what I’ve always wanted to do, perform for people. It is truly awesome when you witness how your music touches other people’s lives, inspires dreams, brings tears to their eyes or makes them sing along. To be in a club and watch as everyone becomes one with what you’re doing gives me chills, that’s what it’s all about.”
