Inpired by 90's post-grunge bands such as Limp Bizkit and the Deftones, two childhood buddies, Dominic Cifarelli (guitar) and Jeff Feldman (bassist) formed Pulse Ultra. In 1997 was the fisrt addition to the band when the two became friends with drummer Maxx Zinno, refining the bands sound and focus. Two years later vocalist Zo Vizza was added, last but not least. Together they created blasts of intense raw music bursting with the longing of emotions and unwritten truths. Then in the summer of 2000 the band befriended Taproot, Cifarelli made them a demo, and Taproot's manager made a deal with Pulse Ultra, signing them up with Velvet Hammer/Atlantic. The band spent the next year refining their sound and finally came out with their first album, "Headspace," which hit stores in 2002.
