| Playing heartfelt melodies with intertwining guitar
and bass, this trio make more noise than most
two-guitar bands. Fast and melodic enough to please
punk crowds yet heavy enough to hold their own on more
rock orientated bills, Quik have played a diverse
range of shows across the country such as the Revolt
metal festival and at Glasgows prestigious Cathouse.
The debut EP '0% attendance - 100% punktuality' was
the fastest selling local bands cd through 1-up
records in two and a half years. The band continued
to play as many shows as possible then went into The
Mill Studio in summer '02 to record three brand new
songs for Carjack Records.
Now with a couple of mini tours with Caffeine and a UK
tour of their own under their belt, Quik continue to
go from strength to strength. Future plans include
more touring and a new EP very soon. |
