| When it comes to young talent in the rap game, there are only a few who’ve actually witnessed or experienced what they or somebody else has written for them. Luckily, Rashad Davis a.k.a. R-Double-D doesn’t have that problem. At age 15, he is accountable for writing all of his lyrics and song material, and can faithfully say that the stories he preach about in his raps are firsthand experiences. But evolving from your average young boy in the ghetto, into one of the most lyrically talented artist in the game was not an easy task. Born March 15, 1992 in Fremont Ohio, and later moving to Jacksonville N. Carolina, he has lived in the Midwest mostly all his life, and still reps it proudly. Though his mom was forced to be another single mother trying to do the best for her two children, he always found ways to keep busy. This hustling skill he learned has turned him into the business man he is today. Whether it’s producing, writing or selling his product, he is always finding ways to stay on top of the game in a positive way. The things that he enlightens us with in his lyrics are far more advanced than that of your average 15 year old M.C. in the game. From club bangers such as Bring It Up & Night To Remember to street bangers like Da Block & All Black, R-Double-D has proven that he brings new meaning to the game and doesn’t show any signs of stopping!!!!! Influences include 8 Ball & MJG, The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Dr. Dre, Lil Boosie, Pimp C, Bun B, Dipset, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Ice Cube, Westside Connection, & Twista. His First EP was nothing more than a test and proved well. Such songs as So Be It & T.P. showed the lyrical skills that he has at such a young age. It Got a lot of attention but R-Double-D promises you way more better material as far as lyrics and quality. He will appear on several of his label mates LPs, including Hershey C and Valentine. This is history in the making people. R-Double-D brings to the game, not only what the people want, but just hip hop in general. He gives you the real hip hop that the games been missing for quit sometime, and you can experience this firsthand through every song. The hunger and intensity that he has while recording or performing in front of a crowd proves that he has the potential to be a great.
