| The original inspiration for Rains music stems from an appreciation for strong songwriting and heart felt story telling. The band was born from a small, hard working Midwest town in which industry and manual labor played a major role in day to day life. The concept for the band came while working with great people who's circumstances have led them to a place in life they'd rather not be. One man in particular went by the name of David Rains.
