REALIGN is a 4 piece alternative/hard rock band based in central Illinois. With a collective interest in music produced in a hard rock format, the boys of REALIGN couldn’t help but notice that the lyrics by most hard rock bands centered round typical cliché themes of drug addition, sex, bad childhoods and failed relationships. Their goal was to create a sound similar to the sonic aggression they heard in their musical influences but with a more spiritual and emotional message. REALIGN clearly is not afraid to step outside of the typical boundaries set by society and challenge those to set a new standard. These boys help you take your place up front and personal with God.
“If we don’t realign ourselves with God, then that very fine thread that binds us to Him will eventually break and we will be lost forever”., says Brandon Jamison of REALIGN. They want you to get back in touch with your human spirit and with God. The lyrical content is truly in your face with no holding back. These boys tell it like it is!
In 2004, REALIGN released their debut CD titled LOST. The CD was well received by consumers and media and several cuts hit hard on Christian Rock Radio, Internet Radio and Alternative Secular radio. But, nothing inspires this band more than a LIVE performance. Their LIVE show is gripping and brings you into their world. They open their souls on stage allowing band and audience to become one. This bond is strengthened as the music gets harder and louder. At the end you’ll be as exhausted as they are but feel refreshingly new.
The reputation of their LIVE show has blessed them with opportunities to share the stage with many well-known rock recording artists including East West, Sub Seven, Staple, Sky Harbor and others. One of the highlights of their career thus far was landing a spot on the main stage at Festival Con Dios where they had an opportunity to open for Thousand Foot Krutch, Kutless and the Newsboys.
Although the boys of REALIGN look like they just stepped off a football field, the true meaning of their hearts can not be contained by any offensive or defensive line. These boys are here to win back the Kingdom for God.
The REALIGN team consists of brothers Brandon (guitar and vocals) and Ryan (keys and vocals), Michael (drums) and Tim (bass).
