About Reddi Being born only 4 pounds and 11 ounces with a shock of red hair was just the beginning for this natural wonder. The tiniest and the loudest in the hospital wing, the girl whose deep red locks would later earn her the name Reddi - seemed to come out of the womb with a determination to make herself heard. Dancing and singing at the age of 5 and performing professionally at 7, she always found a way to express her perspective on life. A Chicago native, Reddi grew up listening to an eclectic mix of music. Influence came from many directions - the classical music in her ballet classes, the Top 40 and MTV hits she sang her heart out to, her parents' R&B and jazz, and the hard rock in her daily hangout sessions with the garage band boys next door.
