I have a question about
relient k
Does anyone know if they are hardcore
republicans? I imagine they are gay hating
right wingers, but would just like to make
sure.

They don't hate gays. Have you ever heard
their song "Failure to
Excommunicate"? It is against hating
people. This is the chorus:
Jesus loved the outcasts/He loves the ones
the world just loves to hate/And as long as
there's a heaven/there'll be a failure
to excommunicate/
Oh and excommunicate is where you like get
kicked out of a church, usually forever. Some
churches excommunicate people who are gay or
had an abortion, etc., but Relient K is like,
"But those are the people that Jesus
loved and hung around with and they need to
be in church the most."

that was the perfect answer to that
question.
also, i went to see them in october of 2004,
and during the concert matt t said "as
everybody knows, november 2nd, a very
important day [election day], is coming up
soon.
"yes, very important... that's the
day our new cd comes out! as for elections,
i'm canadian, so my opinion doesn't
matter anyway!"
