This is the debut from the German power metal band Helloween. But at this point their sound was closer to thrash/speed, just very melodic. Many of the songs on here are quite fast. Kai Hansen's vocals are quite high pitched but seem to fit the album nicely. The guitars are outstanding throughout the album. Also included at the end is the 5 song Judas E.P.. Walls of Jericho is an essential album for any metalhead.
