I absolutely LOVE the Everglow! Not only is it an outstanding follow-up from their previous "Destination: Beautiful", but the beginning of this unique CD has a prologue, like you would see in a storybook, instructing you when to turn the page. It is also accompanied by a booklet filled with artistic pictures that go along with the album. The soft piano and guitar harmonies form sweet melodies that are perfect to fall asleep to.

This album is definatly one to buy.

Songs i would reccomend are: We're So Far Away, Someone Else's Arm's, Suspension, The Ocean, Mistakes We New We Were Making, Cover Me and The Sun And The Moon.

Mae came accross to me in this album as a Indie, Emo, Rock band ... and they mixed piano in to there guitar riffs and drums very well.

The album art showed quility.
When i first listen to the album i thought this isn't the Mae i know ... but after listening to them again i realised that the album showed a more advanced and well organised side to them.

I fully reccomend. Thanks

The Everglow finds Mae changing their sounds slightly, but not very drastically. Destination… was painfully boring on the whole; a record that was as forgettable as they come. The Everglow tries to invigorate the sound a little with emphasis on more rock-oriented arrangements, while still clinging to some of the softer elements. The vocals are still clean and clear but not especially moving or impressive; the songs tend to rely heavily on catchy choruses, while often leaving the verses out in the cold, fraught with issues; and the subject matter tends to be fairly expected, with nothing really surprising coming out of the mix. This all makes this album fairly uninteresting and once again forgettable.
