Beginning Its always nice to no were and wen the music ya like originated. And if it is true, then i'm glad for it. The music sounds quite good for its era. Its just a pity that for most of the 'new-emo' generation, this sense has been lost or unknown.
Anybody else agree??

I agree. The "new-emo" consists of bands like Taking Back Sunday and Dashboard Confessional, which, respectively, are pop-punk and acoustic pop. Calling Taking Back Sunday emo or screamo is ludacris. Don't get me wrong, I still like these bands, but they are so misplaced in the emo genre. If you want to listen to more emo/post-emo then check out Fugazi, Braid, Mineral, Texas Is The Reason, or even THe Appleseed Cast. The genre of emo has become so watered down it's pathetic. | emilymaxwell |
Emo does not exist.
Well, not anymore, anyway... | losersalwayswin |
That's why I said post-emo bands as well as emo bands. Emo is still around it's just not active. | emilymaxwell |
sunny day real estate is another good emo band too. | lacunacoilfan15 |
