Hi everybody! Thank you for your interest in my music and my story! I started playing guitar at around six years old and I am mostly self- taught! As a little boy my fascination with sound and vocal impersonations led me to first place in talent shows early on. I began to develop an interest in writing lyrics/poems and music around the age of fourteen. Eventually, around age sixteen, I really began to develop creatively, learning and perfecting my craft and skill as a serious singer/songwriter/guitarist! I think that it was around this time that I realized music was what I needed to pursue for self-satisfaction and it was what I wanted to do more than anything else in my life! However, I really never dreamed of fame, big money or the limelight! For me personally, it's always been about growth, the journey, developing my artistic gifts and letting them take me just as far as I can go! Each song, album, or new composition is like a new adventure into the unknown! I guess that I am very blessed to have such an outlet for my emotions and thoughts! Everyone needs something! Music has provided me with a sanctuary in life and has taught me so much more than chords, notes and rythmn! It's allmost like a search for ultimate perfection (God) and ultimate truth teaching me and molding me on an unconcious level! To me, music and art are like spiritual cell phones that allow us to tap into that timeless, primitive, atmospheric presence that helps keep the picture of what's really meaningful and important in view! It helps us stay in touch with our innermost being! It keeps us human and in touch with our own spirit! What a wonderful tool! Wow!
Over the years, and because of the demands of my music, I have learned to play other instruments such as the bass, drums, and piano! In recent years I have really developed as a producer and I have spent a huge amount of time engineering my own creations!
My discontent with today's monopolized, greedy, sexually explicit industry standard led me to start my own independent, "New Concept" label. Even though this means I have to work in other fields just to be able to release my music, so be it! I think it's better for me in the long run! Someone once told me, "nothing worth having will ever come easy." I guess it's true!
Thanks again!
All the best!
Ron
