S-TYPE born Adrian Darnell Nichols born an only child his father split from his mother when he was six month's old. Started showing skills at a very early age. Singing for his mothers friends, singing with his friends as well as playing football and playing video games. B honor student every first semester.Got honored at A&T State University for acheiving this grade in elementary school. Next task chorus time to learn how to sing, doing the middle school thing. Next task singing in madison square garden with his high school choir. This was major. Mind you this is while his mother worked hard everyday. S-type would go to his friends house and rap everyday and play basketball. These were his passion's.Then all of sudden music started taking over Rapping became the thing in the early 90's making CD's using a computer and a microphone he started making his own music. He and his friends became neighborhood hardcore rappers and Started doing little parties and decided this is what they want to do.Then he met DJ Zero and they became friends and they would work hard at getting a studio started ,getting the equipment needed to acheive their Down south sound. All of a sudden things came together Stype began writing to DJ Zero's beats and there music began to grow into the hottest music in North Carolina.
Steadyworkin originated as a two people group, formed in 2000 in Greensboro, NC. DJ Zero and S-type started making music together in a home studio with nothing but two 12’s a mixer and a computer. Together they have made some of the greatest music the world has heard and yet to hear, and their not stopping. Once hip-hop took over their life, Steadyworkin’s musical development exploded and they began channeling their energy into writing and producing their own music. North Carolinas baddest.
