Interesting name for a band, almost harsh. This mid American band, fronted by Josey Scott, found their styles listening to an eclectic mix of Hard Rock and Punk, found a divide between the to and settled there.
The first album, fairly forgotten, self titled Saliva was an interesting mix of new melodic rock and punk that is easily forgotten and one to avoid (not much to talk about)
Every Six Seconds was the cleverly titled album which introduced us in the UK to Saliva. 12 tracks of some good rock, some bad and an awe inspiring track that inspired me to be a musician(My Goodbyes). They were scouted to play at Wrestlemania 18(a WWE event) which introduced them to the largest audience and the record books in Toronto, Canada. Playing in front of mad crowds sent them skyrocketing, and a second(third) album followed.
Back in your System was a piece of musical goodness, it had everything new and old listeners wanted, from Always right through to Pride.
I don\'t own the new album, but will soon. It looks damn amazing.
Here\'s to Saliva!
