Hillsborough, NC based family of siblings that were taught to play & sing by their late mother, Joyce Long OBie. Samuel, the eldest, is leader after signing on to work w/Shirley Caesar his senior year in high school as keyboardist. In '80, Samuel's writings allowed him to leave Shirley & organize the family. A 45 rpm was released in '82 which led to an album project entitled "Love" on the Morada Records label of Nashville, TN which was released in '85. In '96, Samuel formed the Salexo Music label & "Vision & A Message" was released w/success. In '07, the project "Tragedy" was released, w/the title track about 9-11-01. These (2) projects are distributed by cdbaby.com. This year ('08) we released our father's first cd entitled "On The Battlefield".
