The Sandal Vandals was formed in 2006 by friends Travis Haney, Hilaree Frazier, and Thomas Hardwick. The band was later joined by vocalist Leigh Ann Dawson. Like many bands, The Sandal Vandals began in a basement during summer vacation. With the big dreams and hard work of each musician, THV will soon be making at name for itself.
THV's style is most similar to that of 80's indie/garage rock bands such as Sonic Youth and Husker Du, but is also influenced by many other artists and genres. |
