| "A musical journey back to the writing styles of the 60's and 70's with an "anything-goes" attitude that was so prevelant of the early pioneers of progressive rock....open-minded, non-conforming, mood music." Senses was formed in November 1994 with the emphasis on creating highly emotional, energetic, music with no boundaries....delving into the moods of several different genres whenever it inspires the writer to do so. After surviving two complete personnel changes in 95' and 96', the band consisted of just two members, Joan Morbée and Don Digiacopo. Also performing on the debut CD,"Fields Unsown", are two session musicians, Bruce Uchitel and Vinnie DeNunzio. The band presently consists of Joan Morbée with other musicians added as needed. The music of Senses has been influenced by several bands, primarily from the 60's and 70's, (The Beatles, The Who, The Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, ELP, Yes, The Moody Blues, Jethro Tull and others, as well as the solo projects of members of these bands) and classical and new age composers....Copland, Vivaldi, Holst, David Lanz, George Winston, and Enya, to name a few.
