SeVeR rose out of Pennsylvania in 2003 and quickly became one of the premier all original Metal Bands in the state. Evolving into what it is today, consisting of some of the top musicians from Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey coming together as one putting forth what may be the best melodic metal ever heard by an unsigned act.
Some of SeVeR's highlights include: Playing venues such as CBGB in NYC, Crocodile Rock in Allentown PA, Peabody’s in Cleveland OH, Crowbar in State College PA, 123 Pleasant St in WV, and Aldo's in Altoona PA. Playing Chrome at the Dome promoted by Killer Koncepts and Discovery Channel's Biker Buildoff in 2005, the Red CD making Jim Price of Q94's Top 10 CD's in the state for 2004 and numerous appearances on Fox 8's The Underground TV show.
In January of 2008 SeVeR recorded the latest EP “Amidst The Ashes” at Spider Studios in Strongsville, Ohio while working with talented producer Ben Schigel (Chimaira, Walls of Jericho, Misery Signals, Drowning Pool).
