Straight Grimey (a.k.a.) Sg for short is a group of rappers and producers. This once crew of friends have come together to evolve into Canadas premier independant Record label. From rapping to producing, SG has set the standard in Canadian Sound thruought the city. Although this (rap/production) team has only officially been a group for three years, this mix of artists have flourished musically to achieve a unique style all their own. Until recently have Toronto rappers/producers been given the respect they deserve. Straight Grimey focuses primarily on creating a quality music that can be enjoyed throughout T.dots urban community. Making songs based on life their experiences, and others close to them are the fuel that SG uses in every track or beat they create. This team keeps themselves busy by working on multiple aspects at a time. Other then music, Sg has a clothing line in the making, called Grimey wear. Also photoshoots, dvd's, and two cd's are due to release due before summer, (Fall Back Vol.1and Red Shortz Everyday Struggle) and are highly anticipated. For those of you who feel that Toronto isnt properly represented musically, try following the new wave of music about to hit the streets.
