Happy Labor Day 07!!
Happy Labor Day weekend!!
I've rehearsed with a percusionist/drummer who obtained a degree in percussion, very positive with insightful additions to the new music.
In addition, I've finished a Psychology degree here in Mid Missouri and begun another.. I feel its fun and vital to continue education.
Also volunteering as Board Secretary for local Community Radio Station's Board of Directors... If you have indie music it is a great station to air, they bring in visiting artists for on air interviews. New awareness programming on expanding thoughts..
Recommendations include "Radio Orbit" and "Uncommon Light", both on KOPN FM, 89.5, Columbia Missouri, streaming on www.kopn.org.
I learned more about farming this week as I tried my hand at picking tomatos on a farm northeast of Columbia, As always I've gained new, huge respect for farmers!!! The following morning I told my listening audience in Sedalia about it. There are many farmers in Sedalia....The Missouri State Fair city.. :)
I wish you Peace and Joy, and hope my oldest son will soon be coming back home..from Iraq. He's been there a year, and turned 21 in Iraq in June. The next son is also in the Army and is to be married this coming November. :)
